LittleC's Tribute to Gman, Hero

How great would it be to be someone's hero?  LittleC wants to be just like Gman.  He has a ways to go before they will be sharing hoodies (atleast without looking like ET).  He wears Gman's soccer cleats and socks all the time!

Lemon Curd

Every time I check out the Stephmodo blog and see her picture of lemon curd in a jar, I think I want to try that.  I thought it would be something my mom and I would like as we're both kind of in love with anything lemon.  So, I made her some for Mother's Day, and enjoyed some myself.  It is like having a bit of lemon meringue pie any time.  I made it with lemon cake and a little whipped cream.  So good!

Do You Want To Do Laundry At My House?

It is raining and everything is green and pretty.  I walked into my laundry room to switch out a batch and looked out.  This is the view from my laundry room.  I am not sure why I would ever be behind on laundry, it is so beautiful!  So I'm standing here in awe, thinking how blessed I am... and along comes a shaggy little deer.  Of course my camera is not picking her up very well, but it was an enchanted moment.

I Am Very Lucky

Some handmade cards and notes for Mother's Day.   And, how about this hilarious, super cute plant head with pigtails from MissC?  Little ones sure make Mom's Day special.  Happy Mother's Day to all women!

We Won the Race!

So, we enjoyed our annual tradition of doing the Race for the Cure.  It was funny!  We were walking in the direction of the start of the race, when I talked to my mom on my phone and realized she was just parking and behind us.  I stopped the stroller and turned around to meet her.  MissL was upset that others were "beating" us.  She really wanted to "win".  Oh, well... really we did win.  We made it to another race!  I had a great time chatting with my mom about any and everything for three or four miles, but once I got into the car to go, it hit me just how lucky we are that she is still with us, and healthy and well.  It's been over 6 years.  What would I do without my mother?
